MISSION STATEMENT

To empower our communities through the mobilization of people and resources to foster meaningful connections, drive impactful solutions, and improve lives.

VISION STATEMENT

United Way envisions a community where collaboration is the cornerstone for accessing resources and opportunities that all people need to thrive and succeed.

UNITED is the way we create lasting change.

We believe in the power of community. That's why United Way works with our neighbors to strengthen local communities worldwide and here at home. Together, we open the doors to better health, youth opportunity, financial security for all, and increased community resiliency.

United is the way we create lasting change. United Way brings communities together to find strength and share hope. It's the way we rally in hard times to meet people's needs so they can rise back up and build a better future.

In addition to our 26 Partner Agencies, the Lake Martin Area United Way also has several Community Initiatives that we support, including the 2-1-1 Statewide Referrals for Human Services, Christmas Blessings Program, Education Enrichment Program, Day of Action, EFSP (Emergency Food & Shelter Program), and the Home Depot Veteran's Home Repair Program. Learn more about each of these initiatives under the Community Impact tab.

When disasters strike, we are also there working alongside our EMA offices, first responders and long-term recovery committees (LTRCs) to help those affected to find a new normal, recover, and rebuild.
